In this day and age, if you live long enough, you will see your spine begin to deteriorate and suffer from back pain. There are many factors at play in spinal disease but many of them can be prevented and ameliorated through effort. This program provides information and techniques that can help you and your clients to live a life that is free from back pain. If you are already suffering, this training will take you down a path of healing.
Through yoga, we can awaken deep strength in the body and learn how to maintain long term health and wellness. We can also reconnect with a deeper sense of being.During this training you will learn:
- In-depth information about the anatomical structure of the back
- Techniques to realign the hips and back
- Yogic tools for strengthen the abdomen
- How to facilitate deep release in the body
- Pranayama (breathing) to release compression
- Mantra (sound) to support greater opening and strength
- How to prevent back injuries in class
- Protection for already injured backs
- Daily opportunities to practice techniques
Upon completion of this training you will have the techniques to work with the various back issues that show up in life and in yoga classes. You will feel brighter, stronger, and empowered to lead a healthy back life!
Yoga teachers will receive 35 CEUs
