Although all yoga is potentially therapeutic and healing, yoga therapy is the specific application of yogic tools—postures/movement, breath practices, meditation techniques, hand gestures, sound, and more—to address your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs. As Yoga Therapist, Rose has in-depth training that includes clinical supervision and almost 20 years of experience to help her assess and keep you safe. Rose works with you to address your specific goals while considering any limitations you might be experience.
A yoga therapy session could include:
- Intention setting
- Movement ranging from gentle to vigorous
- Breathing techniques like therapeutic back breathing and more
- Meditation practices, like yoga nidra, mudra, mantra, visualization, and more
- Postures that address specific areas of discomfort, musculoskeletal imbalances, and strengthen
- Hands on healing, reiki, and cranio sacral techniques
- Chakra and energy body work
- Ayurvedic assessment techniques
- Rest and integration
There are many reasons for why you might seek a Yoga Therapy session with Rose, including stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic pain, back issues, joint pain, breathing problems, or perhaps you are seeking some guidance on your spiritual path. Depending upon your goals, you may require multiple yoga therapy sessions over time. Some people begin with three sessions close together and then maintenance sessions thereafter. Rose is an author, certified yoga therapist, 500-hour experienced yoga teacher, and has used her training to support her physical and mental health. Let her help you in your healing journey.
