Transformation Day 2

The end of Day 1 went well. Minor headache was gone. There was only one problem, I was too full to have my fiber drink! Who would have thought that you could be too full when you are on a mostly liquid diet? I finished off the evening with the Apothe-Cherry – 3x concentrated Tart Cherry juice. Sour/tart cherries contain antioxidants and phyto-chemicals. Each serving of this drink contains 7,000 ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) units. The higher the score, the more effectively the food will seek out and neutralize free radicals, which are believed to cause regeneration in the body. I had my drink and within 30 minutes I was starting to feel very sleepy. I was in bed, lights out by 10:30pm and slept very soundly until my alarm went off at 6:20am. I did have a trip to the bathroom at 12:30, but I had no issues going back to sleep. I slept so well and so much melatonin that I did not want to get out of bed in the morning. After getting up, I got on the scale. After exclaiming, “WHAT?!?” I stepped off and then back on. Yep, sure enough, the scale said I had lost 2.6lbs! Out of curiosity, I got on the scale again this afternoon and my weight was the same. Usually I put on a pound or two during the day and it is gone overnight. But that is what happens when you drink 100+ ounces of liquid. I am amazed at how good I feel and how good my energy is right now.
