Therapeutic Yoga puts an emphasis on the restorative properties of yoga as an ancient healing modality to bring you back into your body’s natural state of being. The practice is grounded in breathwork and body sensing and the movements are alignment centered. This practice is perfect for everyBody, in any state, no prior experience is necessary.

Yoga for Anyone Touched By Cancer

Yoga Nidra

A deep meditative practice done lying down that leads to deep relaxation. You will be guided through awareness of sensation, breath, feeling, emotion, thought and bliss. You will leave feeling refreshed, present and ready for your afternoon. The perfect afternoon practice!

Yoga Abs *begins May 11th

In fun and innovative ways, we will strengthen and cross-train abdominal muscles using yogic practices. When the abs are strong, the heart is free to open and the back is fully supportive. This class is moderate in intensity for abdominal muscles, but is suitable for all bodies and all levels of experience.

Yoga for a Healthy Back

Saturdays 1:30 – 2:30pm *No class 5/5 & 5/26

Wellness begins with a healthy spine. You’ll learn:
Easy yoga poses and yoga breathwork to lengthen the spine and strengthen the back muscles
Simple yoga poses to stabilize the spine
Deep core work (abdominal strengthening) to support the whole back
Easy to understand anatomy to empower you to make healthy decisions
How to practice common yoga poses in ways that help to protect your back and neck and prevent injury

    After a full day of traveling it was such a gift to take your “Healthy Back” class. I felt all the knots in my back, neck and legs unravel. Going through the class with you also made me realize that this is something that I want to incorporate into my life, not just on an as-needed basis. Thank you!
